I would like to thank you everyone who joined the New Year Party in Akron.  I hope you all had a great time!  I am amazed by the turnout and the excitement we had at the party.  I cannot speak enough of the support we received from our friends to make this party the biggest Nepali party in Ohio thus far.  Over 300 of us enjoyed the food, Nepali movie on 12 ft screen with our movie star, Bhuwan K.C., live outdoor concert, and a family friendly environment.  It was a great opportunity to meet and greet our Bhutanese Nepalese friends.  I think that this party has set an example of what we can do if we all work together and think that we are Nepali first and everything else thereafter.

“We felt as if we were in Nepal having a good time with friends and are enjoying every moment of it. We will never forget you” These were the actual word from our movie star Bhuwan K.C.  and his family. Just to give you an example: The audio CDs that Bhuwan K.C. had brought with him were sold out within hours and I have a list of request for the CD.
